Day 07

“So the Lord said I will destroy man whom I created, from the face of the earth – both man and beast and creeping things and the birds of the sky. For I am sorry that I have made them, but Noah found grace in the eye of the Lord.”

– Genesis 6:7 & 8

One of the meanest, most damaging lies that the devil ever told was that you are not important. Don’t ever believe that lie. YOU ARE IMPORTANT.

Every born again child of God has a part to play in God’s plan. God has something for you to do that no one else can do like you can. If you don’t take your place and do your part, things just won’t be quite right. You may be thinking that you are just one person. What could I possibly do that could be so significant? Read Genesis Chapter 6 and see how one obedient person named Noah saved His family from destruction.

Noah didn’t live and do what everyone else was doing at that time. God had spoken to him by faith. He obeyed, and because of that he ended up being the only thing that stood between mankind being totally destroyed.

The next time you are tempted to shrug off the instructions of God and be disobedient, or think what you do doesn’t matter, remember Noah.

Every born again child of God has a part to play in God’s plan.

God is counting on you to carry out your part of His plan, whether you understand it or not, because you are an important part in the Kingdom of God…You truly are!

Confession for today: “In the Name of Jesus, Holy Spirit please show me the importance of my life in the Kingdom of God. Help me to take my rightful place and carry out the plans God has for me. Help me not to follow the distractions of this world, but be focused on the plans that God has for me. Amen”
