We may walk like a Christian, and we may talk like a Christian, but when things don’t go our way and we are caught off guard by a situation or circumstance… what does our REACTION say about us?
Do you struggle with reacting in anger?
Read James 1:19-20
Do you tend to hold a grudge & not forgive easily?
Read Matthew 18:21-35
Do you need to always have the last word?
Read Proverbs 15:18, & 1 Peter 3:22
Do you talk behind people’s backs through rumor & gossip?
Read Ephesians 4:29-32
Or, do your REACTIONS reflect the examples that Jesus set for us in His interactions with people throughout the Gospels? Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and pay close attention to how Jesus conducted Himself, and especially to how He REACTED to every situation that crossed His path. Jesus is an amazing example to us of how we should live our lives daily and walk and talk and REACT… in love.
