Day 12 “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the reality (faith perceiving as real fact what Is not revealed to the senses).” – Hebrews 11:1 Additional Reading: Hebrews 11:1-40 Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Jacob, Joseph and Moses: all people of great...
“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16
We should be a beacon of life-saving light to the lost souls who are either knowingly or unknowingly searching for God’s Truth! It is through our daily decisions and interactions with the world that we are given an opportunity to draw attention to God and His greatness. If we are not setting a positive example to those around us through our conduct and character, then we are not true representatives and ambassadors for Christ.
I encourage you to read Galatians 5:22-23 often and make a consistent effort to cultivate each attribute of the Fruit of the Spirit in your life. As we progress in our walk with the Lord, there should be an increase of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control in our lives! Not just for our own benefit, but for the benefit of the world to see “…and recognize and honor and praise and glorify our Father Who is in heaven” through our “…moral excellence and our praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds…”
We have a responsibility as believers to live righteously for all to see. To attract the attention of the world to Jesus, through our ACTIONS!
Fight the good fight of faith!
