God’s Refreshing While We Wait
Day 26 “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” – Jeremiah 31:25 Additional Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31 I don’t know about you, but to me “Back to school” means back to busy.
We should be a beacon of life-saving light to the lost souls who are either knowingly or unknowingly searching for God’s Truth! It is through our daily decisions and interactions with the world that we are given an opportunity to draw attention to God and His greatness. If we are not setting a positive example to those around us through our conduct and character, then we are not true representatives of and ambassadors for Christ.
I encourage you to read Galatians 5:22-23 often and make a consistent effort to cultivate each attribute of the Fruit of the Spirit in your life. As we progress in our walk with the Lord, there should be an increase of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control in our lives! Not just for our own benefit, but for the benefit of the world to see “…and recognize and honor and praise and glorify our Father Who is in heaven” through our “…moral excellence and our praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds…”
It is through our daily decisions…that we are given an opportunity to draw attention to God…
We have a responsibility as believers to live righteously for all to see. To attract the attention of the world to Jesus, through our ACTIONS!
Fight the good fight of faith!
