Day 23 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.” – Matthew 5:13 Additional reading: Galatians...

Let’s focus on growing in our knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ each and every day. In the Greek, knowledge means, “to know through participation.” We add to our knowledge when we take the Truth of the Word and apply it to our every day lives.
This word from Peter is a win-win for us when we desire to grow in our knowledge of Jesus. Through our knowledge of Him we will receive:
1) …grace and peace in abundance.
2) …everything we need for a godly life.
3) …His Divine nature, so we can escape the corruption of the world and evil desires.
4) …the ability to live effective and productive lives.
We have to understand that these traits are truly a benefit to our everyday lives and they allow the growing process of the Spirit to begin and come alive in us!
Confession for today: “Holy Spirit, allow me to grow in Your knowledge and grace each and every day so that I can grow in You and escape the corruption of this world each and every day!”
Seek Him first!
