Trust God To Always Be There

Day 18

“A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you, no disaster will come near your tent..”

– Psalms 91:7 & 10

Additional Reading: Hebrews 13:5, Psalms 91 (BibleGateway), Daniel 3 (BibleGateway)

This world is not perfect. One disaster seems to happen after another. Almost daily we hear about wars, the danger of nuclear weapons, chemical warfare, earthquakes, floods and other things. But in the middle of it all, God promises to protect everyone who will trust in Him. He wants to be your security.  He wants to be the first Name you call when trouble comes your way. He wants to keep you safe. If you put your complete trust in Him, He will never, ever let you down. He can handle every bit of danger that surrounds you.

He proved that with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. You can’t get in any worse trouble than they did, but God still brought them through. So no matter how terrifying things around you seem to get, TRUST GOD. He will be right there to protect and rescue you.

God promises to protect everyone who will trust in Him.

Will I let God be my protector from anything that is in the world?

Confession for today: “The Lord is my protection. No harm or disaster can come near me.”
