“A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you, no disaster will come near your tent..”
– Psalms 91:7 & 10
This world is not perfect. One disaster seems to happen after another. Almost daily we hear about wars, the danger of nuclear weapons, chemical warfare, earthquakes, floods and other things.
But in the middle of it all, God promises to protect everyone who will trust in Him. He wants to be your security. He wants to be the first name you call when trouble comes your way. He wants to keep you safe. If you do that He will never, ever let you down. He can handle every bit of danger that surrounds you.
He proved that with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. You can’t get in any worse trouble then they did. God brought them through so no matter how terrifying things around you seem to get, TRUST GOD. He will be right there to protect and rescue you.
Will I let God be my protector from anything that is in the world?
Confession for today: “The Lord is my protection. No harm or disaster can come near me.”
