“Thank You”

Day 16

“Remember the Lord your God. He is the one Who gives you the power to be successful . . .”

– Deuteronomy 8:18

Everyone enjoys success. When we do really well at something it makes us feel good about ourselves and gives us confidence. God wants us to be successful, but He doesn’t want us to forget that He is the one who gives us the talents and abilities that bring us that success. The power to do well comes from Him.

Let’s remember to give God the credit when we are able to do well. It’s an honor He deserves for doing such a good job creating us (Psalms 139:13-14). Whether it is in sports, art, school, or any other thing that you are really good at, say, “Thank You” to God for the abilities He has given you. Take time to talk to God and say, “Thank You for making me and for giving me success!”

Can you list the talents that God has given you?

Confession for today: “Thank You, Father, for the talents and gifts You have given me. Show me how I can be successful in them and use them to bring glory to Your name through them.”

Be salt and light,

Miss Dawn
