Day 20

“In order that Satan might not out wit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes.”

– 2 Corinthians 2:11

We cannot allow ourselves to be ignorant of the devil’s devices and how he operates. We must identify his attacks at the onset so we can prevent them from happening more than once. As a Spirit filled believer, you will not be tricked by the enemy’s schemes against you, you are not misguided or in the dark. You walk in the power and authority of Jesus’ name and you must answer each attack with the Word of God stating who you are in Jesus!!

Here are a few scripture references that you can apply to your life to combat against the attacks the enemy may be throwing at you.

You belong: Romans 12:5

You are sanctified: 1 Corinthians 1:2

You have eternal life: 1 Corinthians 15:22

You stand firm: 2 Corinthians 1:21

You are made new: 2 Corinthians 5:17

You are a child of God: Galatians 3:26

You are blessed with spiritual blessing: Ephesians 1:3

You are God’s handiwork, created with a purpose: Ephesians 2:10

You are called to live holy: 2 Timothy 1:9

You have God’s divine nature in you: 2 Peter 1:4

You have been freed from a sinful nature: Colossians 2:11

You are made complete in Christ: Colossians 2:10

You are identified as belonging to God: Ephesians 1:13

If you apply God’s Word to your life each and every day you will have all the confidence you need to be confident in who you are in Christ and who He has called you to be!

Confession for today: “Lord, help me to know what Your Word says about me and who You have called me to be each and every day so I can confidently walk through every trial the enemy may throw at me.”
