God, your Heavenly Father, wants to hear what is on your heart. He desires to listen to you and talk to you. God’s plan of sending Jesus was to give us access to His presence. Now we have an open door to spend time with Him, and He is calling for us to do so.
The starting point is to know that God—yes the Almighty God of the Universe—loves you so deeply that He wants time with you! Not to minimize who He is in His Majesty, but to magnify His love for you. His love is so deep that it is calling for you to come into this relationship with Him, so that you can freely share what’s on your heart. From your hurts to your joys, your challenges and your triumphs, and all the mundane in between, God wants to walk through them all with you.

Our prayer time can be when we are walking, doing a task, or sitting quietly. Prayer is simply talking to God. Think of having a friend on FaceTime at anytime, doing anything. You can be in God’s presence that often. Knowing that God desires to hear you pray and that He is waiting to respond to you is a wonderful privilege we have as His children. Take the time to share what’s on your heart with Him!
