Don’t be too Busy for God
Day 20 “I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.” – Psalms 119:16 Do you send God busy signals? Sometimes we don’t hear the things God wants us to hear because we’re too busy with other things.
Each of us during our Christian walk will struggle with our faith. The Prophet Jeremiah struggled with his faith, but he opened his heart honestly to God. We can pour out our feelings to the Lord and be honest about what we are struggling with. God desires for you to pour out all your worries and stress into His hands. In this openness, God will speak directly to those areas. Shame, guilt, or embarrassment may try to keep us from being honest with the Lord. However, when we are honest with Him, our relationship with Him only grows deeper. In this time with the Lord we will find strength, peace, and the understanding we need to overcome the struggles we face.
God desires for you to pour out all your worries and stress into His hands.
What struggle do you need to be open with the Lord about?
Confession for today: “Search my heart O God and know my ways. Thank You Heavenly Father that You desire for me to cast my cares onto You regardless of what my struggles are. You care deeply about it and I give these struggles to You, trusting You for the wisdom I need to overcome.”
