God’s Refreshing While We Wait
Day 26 “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” – Jeremiah 31:25 Additional Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31 I don’t know about you, but to me “Back to school” means back to busy.
Sometimes we try to work and strive after a solution, an answer, an accomplishment, or a plan. Be reminded today that our job is not to fix, to solve, or to bring the change. Our job is to lean on, trust in and rely on the Lord. It is also our responsibility to wait on Him until we are led to move, to act, or to speak. His timing is everything in living the good life He has for us. We can be still, restful and tranquil in the arms of our Heavenly Father, while He brings His good plans to pass!
What is something you are believing God for?
It could be a transition, a job, or a change you desire to see in some way. Write it down and then pray as you are led over it.
Confession for today: “Lord, thank You that EVERY plan in my life is under Your control and in Your hands. I can have peace in knowing that You have my back and pace my steps. I believe You are my Sovereign Lord over every situation, and I am STILL as I trust and wait. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
