Don’t be too Busy for God
Day 20 “I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.” – Psalms 119:16 Do you send God busy signals? Sometimes we don’t hear the things God wants us to hear because we’re too busy with other things.
In the verse above Jesus is talking about two types of people: the wise and the foolish. One builds his life on the Word of God, which is a strong foundation, and the other builds his life on sinking sand. One experienced deliverance, while the other experienced a great fall. What have you built your life on? Have you built your life on things that other people have told you or what you have learned at school? Or have you built your life on the Word of God? When you are experiencing a storm in your life, it helps to know that you have a strong foundation. Storms will come. If your life is built on the Word, the Rock which is Christ, you will be standing after the storm passes.
Here are some other promises from God’s Word:
Psalm 32:7 – He is my hiding place & He will protect me from trouble and surround me with deliverance!
2 Timothy 2:19 – God’s solid foundation stands firm!
Matthew 6:31-34 – God provides all that we have need of!
Romans 8:28 – God works for the good of those who love Him!
Hebrews 13:5 – He will never leave you, nor will He forsake you!
Seek Him first!
