Prayer is Our Right

Looking back at Nikki’s message on prayer, let’s focus on the right and privilege we have as believers to pray. 1 Timothy 2:8 says, “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger and disputing or quarreling or doubt [in their mind].”

God wants us all to pray every chance we get so that He can fellowship with us and give us the desires of our hearts. John 15:7 says, “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.” (AMP) The only way we are going to receive what God has promised to us is to ask Him for what we desire as we pray. Always remember that being able to pray to our Abba father is a right and privilege that we have because of the sacrifice Jesus made, dying on the cross for our sins. Use prayer daily and cultivate the fellowship with Him that He desires to have with us through prayer!
