Day 28

Salvation-Trust-Application-Non-compromising-Disciple-Anointing-Responsibility-Dauntless

“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”

– Deuteronomy 31:6

Our final letter in our acronym for STANDARD is D: DAUNTLESS.

Dauntless means: the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, or pain without fear. The opposite of dauntless is fearful or timid. Fear feeds on insecurity, but you know the T—Truth—of who you are in the Lord, which gives you security in Him. To live aiming at and striving toward this standard, you will need to be DAUNTLESS! You are able because we have learned that the A—Anointing—equips, enlightens and energizes us!

Are you facing opposition against your faith and what you believe? When you stand up in the face of opposition without being intimidated, this is a sign to the unbeliever that what you are telling them is Truth (Philippians 1:28)! Your salvation gives you courage and makes you dauntless.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

– 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

God’s Spirit is in you and gives you power, love, and self discipline. You have the power of the Holy Spirit, the love of your Heavenly Father, and your own determined discipline that qualifies you as dauntless! Whatever is trying to push you back, quiet your voice or impede your walk, rise up dauntlessly against it, move past it, speak to it, and stand your ground!

“My child, when the Lord God speaks to you, never take his words lightly, and never be upset when he corrects you.
