How can we truly love our neighbor if we are not first checking our own conduct and mindsets in the mirror of the Word? We need to encourage ourselves in the Word so that we can then encourage others. Allow God to be glorified in your life by using the Word as a mirror to show you the areas in your life that could use correction and improvement.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. James 1:25 (NIV)
