You and I have been set free by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. He paid the price for our sins, so our past mistakes and shortcomings have no power over us. God has no sin consciousness or remembrance of our sins once we repent and ask Jesus into our lives. We are no longer bound by guilt and shame. We are free!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 (KJV)
