When believers trust God to move in their lives, the enemy comes with distraction and deception. How do we react in these situations? Do not be blinded by discouragement, but speak the Word of God and hold onto His promises! Even Jesus faced persecution, and we have the Holy Spirit with us as our comforter. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Allow the peace of God, which transcends all human understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. James 1:2-3 (AMPC)
