The key to being an imitator of Christ is to walk in love. Love believes the best of others, never ceases to hope, and believes that good will prevail in the end. As imitators of Christ, we are to be kind to others, bring peace and comfort to those experiencing hardships, care for people’s needs, stand up for what is right, and put others first. Strive to increase your love walk and become more of an imitator of Christ every day.

Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us… Ephesians 5:1-2 (AMP)
