A few years ago I bought myself a new camera and I couldn’t wait to start using it. I took it out of the box, put some batteries in it, and immediately started taking pictures. I seemed to be getting by Continue reading →

Day 10

“…You have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Day 08

“So, my dear friends, listen carefully; those who embrace My ways are most blessed. Mark a life of discipline and live wisely; don’t squander your precious life. Blessed is the man, blessed is the woman, who listens to Me, awake and ready for Me each morning, alert and responsive as I start My day’s work. I love this verse in 1 Peter that talks about staying alert. I feel that it’s a warning from God that we need to always be on our toes and always be ready for something to be thrown our way in this Christian walk. Continue reading →

Additional reading: Romans 5:3-4
