Last Friday we talked about “Trust in Our Purpose.” One of the things we covered was why it’s important to trust God. Prov. 3:5-6 says,

“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Then God can direct all your paths and make them straight.”

Here’s 3 keys to trusting God:
1. Give God the throne of your heart. Our heart is the center of all we do, so make sure God is on the throne of your heart, calling all the shots in your life.
2. Don’t rely on your ways but on God’s ways. Sometimes it can be hard to totally rely on God but if you would let go and let God direct your choices you will never have regret or find yourself in places you don’t want to be.
3. In every area of our lives we must consult God before we do anything. Recognize that God has only the best plans for you. As long as you include Him in all you do He will always make your paths straight and smooth!
