We pray you all had a great weekend at the Advance and you continue to build on the Word God has placed in your heart! Let’s make sure we are always setting our mind on the things of the Spirit and not on the things of the flesh. Remember Romans 8:7,
“The mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot.”
Do you really want to be an enemy of God? That’s exactly what happens when you set your mind on the flesh and not the Spirit. We all know that’s not a battle we will ever win! Purpose in your heart every day to set your mind on the things of the Spirit and think on only things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of a good report and virtuous. When you think on these things you will find it easier to set your mind on the Spirit and not the things of the flesh!
