Seed Sown in Good Ground

“The job of good ground is to break down the outer shell of a seed so it can get to the actual seed, at which time it begins to grow the seed.”

Looking back at Nikki’s message, she spoke about what the 4 types of ground our lives can be in the spirit. Today we’ll focus on the good ground.

The good ground receives the seed and it’s job is to produce an abundance of fruit. It also portrays the one who hears, understands and receives the Word, then allows the Word to accomplish its goal in this life. The man represented by the “good ground” is the only one of the four who is truly saved, because the proof of salvation is to bear fruit.

The express job of soil is to break down the shell to get to the inner seed to begin the growing process. The question we must ask ourselves on a daily basis is: are we allowing our spiritual ground to be good ground where, when the Word is planted in us, our spiritual soil will break down the seed and cause it to produce fruit in our lives.  It’s up to each one of us to make sure we are producing fruit in our lives, not only for us, but  for the world around us to have something to pick from and taste and see that the Lord is good!
