Why are our thoughts so powerful?

It is because we are made in the image of Christ. In Genesis 1, we read about how God created the world. He also created us in His image and likeness. God created the world and every living thing with meticulous forethought and execution. Meticulous means, “Showing great attention to detail or using precision.”

So, if we are created in the image and likeness of God, then we should realize that same creative power belongs to us. Proverbs 4:23 (NCV) says:

“Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.”

Guard your thoughts with precision and choose God’s way of thinking so that you will always have God’s best.
