Never Too Small for God

Last Friday we talked about Gideon’s 300 and how God was able to stand with him through his purpose and defeat the enemy.

Gideon had every reason to think he was unprepared and not equipped to fight against such a big army. His army was so small! I’m sure worry and anxiety was trying to keep him from pursuing his purpose, but we know that God does not work in the natural realm, He works in the spiritual realm. The Word says, “if God is for us, who can be against us?” As you walk down the halls of school and wherever you go throughout your day, remember that God’s peace will sustain you when the enemy’s army looks like it will overwhelm you in the natural. John 16:33 (AMPC) says,

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

So no matter what you are facing today, remember that following God’s purpose for you life will always guarantee that you will see the victory over the enemy in every area of your life!
