Verse 16 – Be Humble. Our eighth point from the Summer Plan to keep our lives on fire for God based on Romans 12:9-21.
Don’t let pride tell you that you don’t need God or you can do it on your own. We should always look to help people instead of being critical of them. Remember that if God was critical of us He never would have sent His Son to die for us! The Word of God tells us that pride comes before a fall, so if you don’t want to go through life stumbling along make sure you are living a humble life. One way we can stay humble is by serving those in need and putting others first. Humility is a godly trait that we need to work on to make sure we don’t allow the enemy to make us think we can do anything without the help of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Stay humble and you will never stumble in your daily walk with him!
