What is one of a the most important assets a race horse has?

Hebrews 12:1-2 says, “So then let’s also run the race that is laid out in front of us, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. Let’s throw off any extra baggage, get rid of the sin that trips us up, and fix our eyes on Jesus, faith’s pioneer and perfecter. He endured the cross, ignoring the shame, for the sake of the joy that was laid out in front of him, and sat down at the right side of God’s throne.”

At this year’s Advance we talked about a very important piece of equipment race horses have. It’s called the blinders. With the blinders on, nothing will distract that horse from running to win the prize.  We to must have the same spiritual blinders on every day to keep the enemy from distracting us and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Purpose in your heart each day to be prepared by the power of the Holy Spirit to run your race without allowing the enemy to ensnare you with any of his distractions along the way!
