Summer Plan #7 is from verse 15 – Be A Good Friend. Don’t always make it about you. Learn how to be a good listener and be there for those around you that need an encouraging word or a shoulder to cry on.
Putting others first will allow God to put you first! The best example of this is Jesus who the Bible describes as a friend that sticks closer than a brother. We live in a selfish world where everyone is always thinking about themselves first and what’s best for them instead of putting others before their needs. We as Christians have an opportunity to change the world one person at a time by being a good friend to those around us. Decide each day to be a friend that the people around you can lean on and count on when they are struggling and you will find that God will honor this and bless you as you are a blessing to others.
