Focus– A center of activity, attraction, or attention.

Action– The accomplishment of a thing usually over a period of time.

Inseparability– Seemingly always together; very intimate.

Trust– Assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.

Hunger– A strong desire

An important aspect of faith in God is focus. If our hearts aren’t focused on the things of God, it is easy for us to stray away from them. One way to gauge what you’re focusing on is to evaluate what you spend your time doing. That brings us to our next word in our acronym for faith: Action. The word action is the accomplishment of a thing, usually over a period of time. You can have faith in God, but if you aren’t putting it to action you will waste the full potential of its power. Put your faith into action by speaking His Word over yourself, sharing your faith with others, and living a life according to God’s Word.

There are many examples of people putting their faith into action in the Bible. They focused on the power of God’s Word and used their knowledge of it to ignite their faith through God-centered works. In my life, I had to realize the full potential of my faith in God. In my previous example of my struggle with my self-image and faith in God as my creator, I had to realize that over the years I was getting comfortable with struggling in that area. Sometimes I would use my faith to combat it and other times I would just let those feelings wash over me. When we are inconsistent in putting our faith to action, we run the risk of getting comfortable with a life filled with struggle. Don’t get comfy with the struggle!

Put your faith into action by speaking His Word over yourself, sharing your faith with others, and living a life according to God’s Word.

As you consistently put your faith into action, you will see growth in many areas of your life and your faith in God will explode!
