Day 23 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.” – Matthew 5:13 Additional reading: Galatians...
“And the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
– Philippians 4:7
Peace is a very important part of our lives. It is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit and a gift from God. In the times we live in, you really need to call upon the Holy Spirit for His help in every troubling situation. Whether it is in school, with family, friends, or whatever bothers you, know that God promises His people a peace that surpasses all understanding. Don’t question that peace. Just accept it and say, “Thank you Jesus…I take Your Peace!”
“The Lord will bless His people with Peace.”
— Psalm 29:11 (AMPC)
“Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
— John 14:27, when Jesus was telling His disciples about the coming of the Holy Spirit. (NKJV)
“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have Peace.”
— John 16:33, one of Jesus’ names is Prince of Peace. (NIV)
Remember — You never lose as much as when you lose your peace.
Confession for today: “In the Name of Jesus, Holy Spirit please instill in me the Peace of God for ________________ (name the situation), so that I will not be troubled by it ever again. I believe I have received the Peace of God over my life…AMEN”
