The moment that we wake up and begin to interact with the world . . . it’s game time! It is so crucial to RESET ourselves each morning by the renewing of our mind with God’s precious Word in order to REMIND ourselves what Kingdom we belong to! We do this so that we may truly REMAIN clearly set apart from this world and its evil influences, which seek to corrupt us.
We may live in this world, but we certainly ARE NOT to conform to it! As believers we have a sincere responsibility to hold the world’s standards accountable by the Word’s standards (not the other way around!!). We are God’s chosen people. A people set apart by Him, to affect change everywhere that we go by the power of His Holy Spirit, which dwells within us! Remember… RESET, REMIND, & REMAIN!”
After you spend time with God in His Word each day, take the Word with you wherever you go.
As believers we have a sincere responsibility to hold the world’s standards accountable by the Word’s standards.
Look for every opportunity to openly and outwardly display God’s love, proving just how “NOT conformed” to this world that you are! And every night before you go to sleep, take time to REFRESH from your interactions throughout your day. The same way we would shower at the end of a long day to remove the dirt and grime of what may be all over us, it is even more vital to cleanse and wash ourselves of the filth of this world and everything we may have seen, heard, thought, or done. Then sleep, wake, and REPEAT!!
