We Believe...

Because God Says it...

The Bible was written by God, and is infallible. 2 Timothy 3:16
There is only one God, in three persons:  the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 4:35, 1 John 5:7, John 14:6-26 and John 17:3-5
In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.  Jesus died as a sacrifice to God for OUR sins, so that we are considered blameless and able to enter into eternal life with Him. John 3:16-21, Acts 1:9-11, Acts 10:38-43
That in order to be "saved", and sure of heaven, man must be regenerated or "born again" by the Holy Spirit. John 3:3-5
That Jesus Christ is Lord of all and the Great Shepherd of our souls. Hebrews 13:20-21, Acts 4:12
That baptism in water is a symbol of a Christian's identification with Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Acts 2:38, Romans 6:11
That baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, after man is "born again" and his soul is regenerated.  This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. Acts 1:4-5 and 8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6
That the Holy Spirit is alive and ministering on the earth today, and by His living in us (Christians) we are able to live a godly life. Galatians 5:22-25
That divine healing for our physical body is available today through the power of God and the prayer of faith...and by the laying on of hands.  It is provided for in the atonement of Jesus' death, and is the privilege of every believer. 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:14-15, Mark 16:18
That both Christians and non-Christians will one day be raised from the dead and judged, and that the saved will be blessed with God for eternity, while those without Christ will experience everlasting punishment. Acts 24:15, Matthew 24:31-46, Revelation 22:11
That all those who believe in Christ are united spiritually as one body, the Church. Psalm 133, Colossians 3:10-11
