Who is Harvest Distribution Center?

Harvest Distribution Center is owned and operated by Harvest Church - a 501 (c)(3) organization – and is dedicated to providing food, clothing, personal care products and household items to agencies that serve individuals and families in need. Our vision is to strengthen families in our communities by supporting established non-profit human service programs that stabilize households and assist transitional populations.

What is the mission of HDC?

Our mission is to meet the compelling needs in our communities by distributing the surplus that periodically results from the overproduction of food, clothing, personal and household products in the private sector. HDC seeks to ensure the continual provision of critical support services to individuals and families by increasing the flow of available emergency staple items to non-profit community agencies. While our organization is founded on Christian principles, we do not limit our assistance to “faith-based” organizations.

What is the history of HDC?

The 15,000 square foot distribution center had a ground breaking in August of 2010. The warehouse project was fully funded by the congregational members of Harvest Church and donations. No outside financing was secured for the construction of the warehouse. We received the certificate of occupancy in May of 2012. Since the Harvest Distribution Center is an extension of our food pantry which was started in 1991 we have been able to, with the warehouse, increase the amount of items we can store and in turn give out to people in need. Currently we are serving numerous government agencies, churches, food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and outreach programs.

Can I, as an individual, receive services from HDC?

We work with non-profit organizations and government agencies, not individuals, in supplying products. Please contact an agency near you if you are need of food, clothing and/or personal or household items. The agency will then contact HDC.

How do I, as an agency, contact HDC?

You may contact us via email at paulie@soldoutforjesus.com. We will contact you to set up an appointment at the distribution center to meet with our personnel to obtain available items. We request that a representative from your agency comes to collect products.
